Carmen has more than ten years of experience working in the nonprofit sector, most notably in the fields of philanthropy and marketing. In her current role, Carmen has the honor of building relationships with donors to ensure that they are informed and engaged in ways that are meaningful to them, and that they are loved and know how much of a difference they make. Carmen is a storyteller and connector, enjoying every moment of her days when she can facilitate opportunities for individuals to do amazing things with their time and resources. Previously, Carmen has worked in various fundraising and marketing roles at Habitat for Humanity of Huron Valley, Boys & Girls Clubs of Southeastern Michigan, EMU’s Autism Collaborative Center and the Children’s Leukemia Foundation of Michigan. Carmen holds an MBA specializing in Nonprofit Management from Eastern Michigan University and a BA in Interpersonal Communication from Michigan State University.
